Holy Week Services
Lent gathers its long, quiet work of reflection and longing and carries it into the intensity of Holy Week, where the story reaches its deepest truth and then opens into the steady, renewing light of Easter.
You are invited to participate in Holy Week as we gather together. All services will take place at Prairie Presbyterian Church (590 University Crescent) and are live-streamed on our YouTube channel unless otherwise noted.
Palm Sunday Worship Service

We wave Palm branches and sing Hosanna, stepping into Holy Week with intention. This moment begins our shared focus, Journey to the Cross.
Communion Worship Service (In-Person Only)
Wednesday, April 1 at 7:00pm
At this candlelight communion service, we remember the Last Supper of Jesus and his disciples, and reflect on the journey ahead that Christ took.
Good Friday Worship Service
Friday, April 3 at 10:00am
We go to the cross and listen to Christ’s last words, being present to the reality of the crucifixion.
Easter Sunday Service
Sunday, April 5 at 10:00am
This day we celebrate the joy of resurrection. With renewed hope, we share communion again as a celebration of new life.
Holy Week Short Daily Prayer
A short daily meditative video was recorded in 2024 to provide an opportunity to connect with God during Holy Week.
You may want to have your own candle to light and extinguish as part of your prayer practice this Holy Week.
Each day…
A candle is lit as a reminder of the presence of Christ.
As the candle goes out, remember the cross where the light of Christ was extinguished… and await the dawn of Easter day.
After the candle goes out, take as long as you like in silent prayer.
