Lent gathers its long, quiet work of reflection and longing and carries it into the intensity of Holy Week, where the story reaches its deepest truth and then opens into the steady, renewing light of Easter.
You are invited to participate in Holy Week as we gather together. All services will take place at Prairie Presbyterian Church (590 University Crescent) and are live-streamed on our YouTube channel unless otherwise noted.
Over the summer this year, Iβm inviting you to pray specifically for our congregation of Prairie Presbyterian. Every two weeks, there will be a different focus on various aspects of the life of the Church. We will give thanks for what has been, and also look forward to the fall and where the Church is heading.
Each time we shift focus, we will release a different short video where you are invited to pray along with me. I hope youβll take these opportunities to really hold our congregation in prayer. For our past and for our future.
Our congregation is located in Winnipeg, which is on Treaty One Land, first entrusted by Creator God to the Anishinaabeg, Anishininewuk, Dakota Oyate, Denesuline, Nehethowuk nations, the homeland of the Red River MΓ©tis.
