The Servant Songs


During Lent, the Sunday sermons (Feb 14 to Mar 13) will be focussed on the songs of the suffering servant found in the book of Isaiah.

Each Wednesday night there will be a discussion based on the text and sermon that was heard on Sunday. This will be a great opportunity to enter more deeply into the texts and into this season of preparation leading to Holy Week.

Feb 14th - An Introduction to the Servant Songs

Feb 21st - "Here is my servant, whom I uphold" - Isaiah 42:1-9

Feb 28th - "I will give you as a light to the nations" - Isaiah 49:1-13

Mar 6 - "The Lord God helps me" - Isaiah 50:4-9

Mar 13 - "...and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all" - Isaiah 52:13-53:12
